Ms. Andric is an Associate in the Commercial Practice and Litigation Group at Handler Thayer, LLP. Her background includes litigation in commercial, real estate, and employment law cases in state and federal courts and serving as counsel in matters concerning commercial and residential real estate transfer transactions, property tax issues, and probate.
Prior to joining Handler Thayer, Ms. Andric worked at a litigation practice in the Chicago area where she represented clients in negotiations, complex motion practice, and trial in matters primarily relating to commercial, real estate, and employment law. There she also served clients in a wide-array of real estate matters, probate, and entity-formation and governance issues. While in law school, Ms. Andric clerked at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, Domestic Violence Division, where she advocated on behalf of domestic violence victims in the courtroom and beyond. Ms. Andric also served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Diane Schneider at the Indiana Superior Court for a number of semesters while in law school, gaining valuable courtroom experience.
Ms. Andric earned her Juris Doctor degree from Valparaiso University School of Law and her Master of Arts degree from DePaul University, where she studied Balkan history and political culture. Ms. Andric also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, with a double major in Political Science and International Studies, from Loyola University in Chicago and was a multiyear scholarship recipient at Loyola. She is fluent in Serbo-Croatian and has studied abroad in Rome, Italy. Ms. Andric is active in the Chicago Bar Association and has undertaken pro bono legal services in the Serbian community.
