Mr. Stroth is Of Counsel to the Commercial Practice Group at Handler Thayer, LLP and the President of Impact Talent Associates, Inc.
As a sports and entertainment law attorney, Mr. Stroth has negotiated business partnerships and endorsements for professional athletes and celebrities. He has negotiated agreements with a collection of high profile sports personalities including Dwyane Wade (Miami Heat), Donovan McNabb (Minnesota Vikings), Michael Vick (Philadelphia Eagles), Chris Bosh (Miami Heat), Lovie Smith (Chicago Bears), Ernie Banks (Chicago Cubs), Chris Zorich (Chicago Bears), Tim Grover (ATTACK Athletics), Phylicia Rashad, Nina Storey and others. Such endorsement agreements have included transactions with: Nike, Reebok, Adidas, Converse, McDonald’s, Gatorade, Procter & Gamble, EA Sports, Kellogg’s, General Mills, PowerBar, T-Mobile, Verizon, Lincoln Navigator, Cadillac, Novartis, GlaxoSmith Kline, General Mills, Lincoln Financial, Campbell’s Soup, Capital One, Shamrock Farms, Dr. Pepper, Staples, EAS, IHOP, McDavid, AirTran, Bombo Sports & Entertainment, Warner Brothers and others. Mr. Stroth has also negotiated several equity partnerships on behalf of athletes including transactions with Vitamin Water, Playmaker Mobile, and Yardbarker.com.
Prior to serving as the President of Impact Talent Associates, Mr. Stroth was the Director of Business Development & Strategy of SC Investments Consulting, the Executive Vice President of CSMG Sports, the Managing Director of DTO Sports and a Client Services Executive at the Leo Burnett Company.
Mr. Stroth served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Northwestern University School of Law in the Negotiations Program from 2002 to 2008. He earned his law degree from Northwestern University School of Law and his undergraduate degree (Magna Cum Laude) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Mr. Stroth serves on the Board of Directors of the Northwestern University School of Law. He resides in Evanston, Illinois with his wife Janel and three children.
